So what we have decided to do is give those of you who don't like the idea of being tied in some information on the best pay as you go deals. As well as some short term low cost pay monthly deals so you can compare what you’re going to get for your hard earned cash.

Here are the low cost alternatives on pay monthly, we’ve recommended a few deals because you’re always going to get the better deal on pay monthly. A few of the pluses are:

First thing first, cost. Now with Payg (pay as you go) the networks all charge you for the actual internet dongle. This price ranges from £29.99 up to £49.99. To make things easier here is a list of the networks and what they have to offer.
Vodafone: Pay As You Go (PAYG) deals
“Top Up and Go Mobile Broadband gives you internet access without any ties – simply top up whenever you want.

· Easy to top up – just £15 for 1GB
· Fast download speeds – for frustration-free browsing”
That’s what Vodafone have to say about their pay as you go plan. After a little more browsing they go on to say that the modem they provide also doubles up as a 4GB memory stick. Vodafone don’t actually say if the memory card is included, we’re guessing you need to buy that separately! You can purchase addition usage at a cost of £15 per GB and this can be done by credit or debit card by calling this number 08080 101238. T-Mobile: Pay As You Go (PAYG) deals
T-Mobile’s offerings look a little like this:
· Only need to log on when you're out and about on the odd day? Get it for just £2 a day.
· Going on a business trip or a family break for a week? Get it for seven days and pay just a tenner.
· Want a great value monthly rate with absolutely no commitment? Get 30 days for only £20

Three: Pay As You Go (PAYG) deals
Three are a market leader when it comes down to pay monthly mobile broadband. Their Payg packages aren’t too bad either. This is the information we managed to dig up from their website:
“No wires. No contract. Just buy a Top-up and convert it to the Add-on of your choice to get online almost anywhere with your 3 USB Modem.”
The add-ons cost as follows:
· £10 will get you 1GB
· £15 will get you 3GB
· £25 will get you 7GB
